Matuka Sculpin Fly
This is a spun deer hair pattern without Eyes that fishes well cross-current
|
Matuka Sculpin: This pattern imitates the freshwater Sculpin locally known as called "Muddlers" or "Millers Thumbs" they belong to the Order Scorpaeniformes that contains 11 Families of both fresh and saltwater species. It is a cross between a Matuka and a spun deerhair Sculpin that works extremely well when fished cross current allowing trout to get a good look of the lateral profile. This is a big fly for big fish that is also a great Smallmouth pattern. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders. Please check back at a later date. |
