Egg Sucking Rag Sculpin: This pattern imitates the freshwater Sculpin locally known as called "Muddlers" or "Millers Thumbs" they belong to the Order Scorpaeniformes that contains 11 Families of both fresh and saltwater species. This pattern has an egg component to it similar to an egg sucking leech. It works extremely well when fished cross current allowing trout to get a good look of the lateral profile. This is a big fly for big fish that is not just for Alaska. Big trout worldwide just love to eat this fly. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders.
