Yanks Assassin designed by John Yankanich is a new good looking Redfish pattern that is just made to fish the tea stained estuaries where Redfish often live. It has lots of color presence with a orange and red color scheme that gives it life-like subtle contrast along with plenty of Flashabou mixed in for attracting those big reds. The lead eyes seem to be just the right size to let the pattern work well in deeper water situations as well as the skinny water bank edges we often find crawlers in. Redfish fly anglers have often talked about “Brown and Down” meaning fishing brown colored fly patterns along the bottom well in stained or off colored water the combination of orange and red will work the same magic. All in all, this new pattern should work just great from the Carolinas to the Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana in between. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders.
