Glass Minnow Saltwater Fly
An Oldie but a Goodie, Glass Minnow imitations have been catching fish for a long time, this one is a good design

Glass Minnow: Joe Brooks probably created the first Glass Minnow pattern back in the early days of saltwater fly fishing. This is a tried and true pattern that has been working for years ever since. It is the perfect choice to imitate the Glass Minnow that so frequently inhabits quiet water nooks of the backcountry. It has a neutral buoyancy when fished so you can pause between short strips and have the fly hover suspended in the water column just like the natural. Good for just about any fish that eats minnows.
