Black Dose: This is a famous Atlantic Salmon pattern that Steelheaders both West and Midwest have found to be quite effective. This pattern was originally a full dress feather wing that was quite complicated to tie. It was converted t a hair wing design in the early days of Atlantic Salmon fishing in Quebec and New Brunswick. This pattern works well in the low light periods of early morning and dusk.
