Swamp Rabbit Tarpon Fly
With the soft tuft of Rabbit Fur this series of flies give off lots of movement in the water
|
Swamp Rabbit: This is a series of Tarpon flies created by Guide and Commercial Tier Bob "Tight Lines" LeMay. The key to the success of this pattern series is the way rabbit fur moves in the water when striped. As it ungulates the contrasting colors add incredible life to this very productive pattern. These flies all have weed guards to avoid the small blades of grass often present on the flats. With all the color choices it is good to remember the general rule of bright flies for clear water or bright days and dark flies for dark water or dark days.
