Tarpon Bunny: This pattern is part of a series of Tarpon Flies designed by Eddie Wyatt who also created the hot Permit Pattern Kung Fu Crab. What we like about this pattern is the long strip of Rabbit Fur that trails seductively behind the hook bend. It can be shortened by simply cutting part of the trailing end off to create a smaller offering. We have found the Purple color scheme to be most effective early in the morning or in other low light conditions. This fly is extremely effective around the Palolo Worm hatches of the Lower Keys.
