Scud Bead Head Nymph
Barbless, tied on a TMC2457BL Hook created by Randall Kaufmann
|
Scud Bead Head: This is a Randall Kaufmann imitation of the Scud species in the three families of the Order Amphipoda. Scuds swim straight bodied and only present the rounded shrimp-like curved body when they are in danger, out of the water or dead. Note that dead scuds are pink to orange/red in color, a function of the carotene in their shells so it is advisable to fish the pink-red color schemes with a dead drift.. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders. Please check back at a later date. |
