Pheasant Tail Bead Head: The original Pheasant Tail pattern was created by Frank Sawyer an English River Keeper who originally tied the pattern with fine copper wire in place of thread. The pattern is constructed completely of pheasant tail and as such has a very natural look and feel to it. The pheasant tail fibers pulse in the water creating a very lifelike look to the fly.
