Deep Sparkle Pupa: This is the Gary LaFontaine pattern that changed the way we fish Caddis Pupae during emergence. In the early 1070's his underwater research reveled that trout selectively feed on emergent caddis pupae as they sit in the meniscus layer as it struggles to free itself from its pupal shuck. Fish this pattern in the film layer to imitate the natural.
