This clever ant pattern was created by the highly talented professional Fly Tier Bill Logan who is known for his realistic insect imitations. This foam wonder does everything a good ant imitation should do. It floats well, has a realistic body, creates leg impressions in the surface film (trout often key in on impressions in the surface film) and is big enough to act as an attractor pattern. Ant patterns are especially effective through the summer months when an active hatch is not currently in progress.
