Bonefish Mai Tai Flats Fly
Here is a new weight centered Bonefish pattern that is very shrimp-like in appearance and fishes bigger than it looks
|
Bonefish Mia Tai is a new pattern created by Andrew Cummings a New England Guide for over 20 years who is also a professional fly designer. Bonefish Mai Tai is what we like to call a bottom creature design that can imitate a number of different bonefish prey. Although this pattern is very shrimp like in appearance it can also imitate a small crab or even a goby. The fly is weighted with its eyes that are mounted just under the hook point making it an excellent candidate to crawl or bounce across the bottom of a white sand flat. Two hard mono weed guards are present for fishing in the turtle grass or in weed lines. We think it is the placement of the eyes that make this pattern a winner and we can’t wait to try it in Belize or the Bahamas. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders. Please check back at a later date. |
