Anderson's Reducer Saltwater Fly
This new patter has all the makings to become a new generation all-purpose Saltwater fly
|
Anderson’s Reducer Saltwater Fly: Rob Anderson a creative tier who also gave us the terrific Hex pattern; Loco Hexagenia developed this marvelous Pattern the Reducer. Make no mistake this fly pushes just a ton of water as it is very wide in the face created by two prismatic eyes that splay slightly outboard. This pattern is almost four inches long and is tied on a stout 1/0 Owner hook. We think that this is one of our best new Saltwater patterns that has potential for numerous other species. I think this pattern will work well in the backcountry for snook and redfish as well as for Tarpon in that magical moment of first light. This could just be the start of a new generation all-purpose saltwater fly. You really need to see this pattern in person because the combination of the chartreuse synthetic fiber hair and the pearl Krystal Flash really light up in the water.
