Crazy Charlie: Created by Bob Nauheim in the late 1970,s to imitate glass minnows that large bonefish were chasing on the fertile flats of Andros Island in the Bahamas. The original pattern was called Nasty Charlie and later modified to become Crazy Charlie. This single fly sparked a revolution in bonefish patterns with "Charlie" style flies becoming the most diverse and widely used style of bonefish flies in modern day history. Fish it anywhere that bonefish live but always try and match the fly color to the color of the bottom.
