Zug Bug: This pattern best represents mayfly nymphs of the Genus Siphlonorous (Gray Drakes-inhabit slow to medium flowing water) and Isonychia (Slate Drakes-inhabit medium to fast flowing water) both of which are important hatches to fly anglers. Gray Drakes locally known as Black Drakes have widespread distribution in the West where as Slate Drakes locally known as Lead Wing Drakes are prevalent in the East and Midwest.
