Royal Lime Wulff: Created by Lee Wulff in the 1930's based on his belief that trout wanted something meatier to eat than the sparse hackle dressings of the day. This is not just a patter but rather a subcategory of flies that define the Hairwing dry fly as it should be. The original Wulffs as tied by Lee had an upright profile to the wings and used bucktail in both the tail and wings. These flies fish well anywhere in the world where trout waters flow.  This new hot color variation is doing quite well and has added a new twist to this classic attractor pattern.
