This is a very realistic adult Caddisfly imitation from the very famous commercial fly tier and prolific fly designer John Barr. The web Wing Caddis gets its name from the synthetic material used for the wings. John himself said that he wanted to create a durable and realistic adult caddis imitation and that natural fibers just didn’t seem to do the job. We have found this pattern to be very effective while fishing pocket water in fast freestone streams as well as the tail end slow water sections pools and eddies We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders.
