Pacific Smelt: This pattern imitates the Pacific Longfin Smelt (Spirinchus thaleichthys) an abundant prey species with distribution from Monterey Bay, CA all the way up to Prince William Sound, AK. Longfin Smelt live close to shore in bays and estuaries making them perfect prey for costal dwelling predators. This is a good imitation of the natural.
