Alaskabou: This is a series of flies rather than a single pattern that basically evolved from the Marabou Spey and Marabou Spider flies of the 1970's. The Alaskabou Series was created by George Cook who basically matched certain color combinations of marabou feathers along with Krystal Flash or Flashabou to create the look he desired. These flies were meant for the Salmon and Steelhead of Alaska however they can be used wherever pelagic species run. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders. Please check back at a later date. |
