Rag Hex: The giant Mayfly known as Hexagenia limbata the Great Olive-Winged Drake also known as the Michigan Caddis. This species is distributed across the entire US with exceptionally large populations in the Midwest and western populations extending from New Mexico to Alaska. These nymphs build burrows into fine gravel and silt deposits of slow to moderate flowing stretches of rivers and streams. Because of their love for silt Hex Nymphs live where Carp do and with their large size mage good carp prey. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders.
