Callibatis Spinner Fly
Use early in the Season on a cloudy day when this hatch occurs most often
|
Callibatis Spinner: This pattern represents the spinner phase of the Mayfly Genus Callibaetis, commonly called the Speckled Duns. Springtime spinner falls usually take place midday around the same time as the hatch. Male spinner flight is a fast vertical two foot dance over streamside vegetation. Trout seem to target spinner falls on dull cloudy days. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders. Please check back at a later date. |
